Concept & Inspiration
The idea started with a childhood memory: cá ngựa, the board game almost everyone has played at least once during Tết. AEON MALL Hà Đông brought that direction to Look Concept, and the challenge was keeping that familiarity intact while scaling it up for a mall's central atrium. The Horse mascot appears in bold graphic form, decisive blocks of color, galloping through a field of apricot blossoms, coins, and lucky charms spread across the space. Seen from above, the whole atrium reads like a chessboard in play, lively without feeling cluttered, thanks to a dominant red balanced carefully with gold, blue, and orange for contrast and depth. And within that board sits a real "starting line": a central axis running straight from the interactive floor into the stage, where the mascot cluster meets the LED graphics behind it. Every decorative detail does double duty, guiding visitors' footsteps along a path planned from the very start.
3D Design
Before this spring chessboard took physical form, Look Concept built out the full 3D renders to balance pattern density and color contrast, keeping a space as large as AEON MALL Hà Đông's atrium from feeling overwhelming. Every layer of detail, from the mascot to the guiding axis, was tested on the renders before construction began. Throughout the holiday, the stage in this space stayed lit with weekend performances from dancers and young singers, proof that the spring chessboard wasn't just for photos, it lived alongside the energy of real events happening right on it.
