Concept & Inspiration
The Back to Youth concept was developed by HCC Productions around the visual language of 1980s–90s Vietnam. Look's role was to take that creative direction and turn it into a stage that could actually be built — defining the structure, selecting materials, mapping the lighting rig, and working out the assembly sequence for every component. The core challenge was making the stage feel intimate and familiar while still being large enough for a major concert. The design solution centered on the visual vocabulary of that era, warm tones, period-specific patterns, lifted through modern lighting technique so the stage could carry both the emotional weight and the technical requirements of the performance. Multiple rounds of 3D renders and technical drawings were reviewed with HCC Productions before production started, making sure every detail aligned with the program's original vision.
3D Design
3D renders gave HCC Productions a clear picture of the full stage environment before production began. Lighting, color, and structural proportions were all detailed at this stage so any adjustments could happen in design rather than on the build floor.
